Spring Training and IV Therapy

One of Arizona’s best-loved spring traditions gets going sometime in the near future. That’s right! Opening Day of Spring Training was scheduled to begin on February 26th, though it has been delayed through at least the first week of March due to the lockout.

Regardless of when the season gets going, a spring training game can be a fun way to spend an afternoon enjoying the weather before summer temperatures get here, but it can also take a toll on your health if you aren’t careful. Hours in the sun coupled with alcoholic beverages can leave us feeling a little dehydrated and worse for the wear if we don’t take matters into our hands.

Take me out to the ball game!

Schedule an IV appointment before you head out to the fields to get ahead of the curve and feel your best whether you’re seated right behind home plate or in the nosebleeds. Check the Cactus League Schedule for updated game days to plan out your IV therapy. A Basic Hydration IV Bag might be just the thing you need to get warmed up before the big game.

Buy me some peanuts and cracker jacks (and an IV therapy)

An appointment after the game can be a real MVP too. After indulging in some salty treats, maybe a few adult beverages, and spending prolonged time in the sun, a Hangover Recovery or Refuel Bag might be just what you need to get back to peak condition.

Root, root for your team!

Make sure to book your tickets in advance, as some games sell out quickly, especially for big rival teams. Maybe you even want to consider arriving early to take advantage of warm-ups and pre-game practices – or even to snag an autographed ball from players visiting with the fans! Finally, don’t forget to check the stadium’s policies on both bags and masks here. Many fields forbid large bags, or require transparent ones. And with the ever-changing data on COVID, it’s always a good idea to take your mask with you.

Most importantly, have fun and be safe! Are you planning on attending any spring training games this season?
